A Wesleyan Sermon Concert & Recital Series is the signature name for musical events sponsored by the Music Ministry of First United Methodist Church of SLC.  The series is named for brothers, John & Charles Wesley, founders of the Methodist movement. John was known for his rousing sermons on the streets throughout England in the 1700’s and Charles, having written over 6500 words to hymns.  The series was originally begun to raise funds for our pipe organ and then was placed on hold during the renovation.

A Wesleyan Sermon Concert & Recital series now returns with an inspirational new open space and beauty.  With seating for up to 400, the intimacy and grandeur is a unique venue site that will feature organists, ensemble groups and musical events from FUMC and the community.
